Via Ferrata around South Lake Garda

General information

The area around Southern Lake Garda offers two via ferratas, close to Mount Baldo ridge. A medium difficulty one on the west side, Via Ferrata Taccole, and an harder one in the east side, Via Ferrata Gerardo Sega. From spring to autumn the XMountain guides are at your disposal to accompany you on these routes.  Both the via ferrata are distinguished by the exceptional panorama that you can admire during the ascent!

General Program

VIA FERRATA GERARDO SEGA: incredible via ferrata that reminds the most famous ones in the Dolomites and goes through an outstanding environmental.

Level: medium.

Length: 2h for the Via Ferrata plus other 5h more to get to the beginning and come back.

VIA FERRATA TACCOLE: outstanding route with a beautiful view on the Lake Garda, the Brenta Dolomites, the Adamello and Presanella’s glaciers.

Level: difficult.

Length: 1h for the Via Ferrata (plus other 4,5h to get to the beginning and come back).

Information on prices and dates

The cost includes: fully certified with international qualification IFMGA-UIAGM Mountain Guide.

The cost does not include: tansfers on trains, lifts, buses, taxis, extra charges due to changes in itinerary, insurances, trip cancellation coverage, aything not mentioned in cost include.

How to register: Payment of a 50% deposit (bank transfer) and balance on the day of the activity.

Equipment

Trekking boots, harness, helmet, via ferrata kit. For those without it, XMountain can rent harness, helmet and via ferrata kit.
