Few years ago, I never thought that the mountain would have so much influence on my life.
When at 14 years old I started to climb with my father, I played water polo and I was always in the pool. When was the time to sit on university benches to disentangle the engineering books, I left cap and ball to dedicate myself to the cliff and the great walls of the Dolomites. Gradually I discovered ski touring, ice climbing, mixed, winter mountaineering and ... I started travelling! Simultaneously, the engineer work led me to turn the seas on construction vessel; with my small campus board sized for the suitcase I trained and recharge the batteries ready for new adventures. On crags I met Claudia, my wife, and it is great to share with her and my daugther this lifestyle.
At 31, I went back again in the game to dedicate myself full time to my passion as a mountaineer and as a mountain guide ... amazing! In recent trips to Patagonia was a dream to climb in a row Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre, Pointcenot and Central Tower of Paine!
Mountain, as well as life, is curiosity and the important thing is to constantly challenge yourself; with attitudes and correct mental approach I am convinced we can achieve any dream!
